My ipod has stopped working. Neither it plays nor it charges. It is like my device is dead. I'm afraid of losing my ipod and afraid of repairing cost too. Any solution to this problem?

This is common problem. Your ipod is definitely frozen and stuff everyone else said doesn't work. There is simple solution to this problem.
Hold down the center button and the menu button at same time and wait until the apple logo appears in the display or screen. Your ipod is restored now can charge it and play it.
